Synergists

Pyperonil Butoxide (PBO) was firstly patented as Pyrethrum synergist, being lately widely used in association with many other active ingredients. Nowadays PBO is the most widely used Pyrethrum and synthetic Pyrethroids’ synergist: it increases the efficacy of Pyrethrum and Pyrethroids by reducing the process of degradation of the actives in the insect, thus making the insect to be exposed for a longer time to the action of the active ingredients on the nervous system.
