Pyrethroids
Pyrethroids were born in the 70’s has an attempt
to replicate in the lab the characteristics of Pyrethrum.
From that moment onwards Pyrethroids have been developed
and new ones produced, being nowadays divided into
two categories: first and second generation. Pyrethroids
can be characterised by having strong knock down or
residual activity. They find a broad application in
Public Health, H&G, and in Agriculture thanks
to their activity on many species of pests: aphids,
white flies, thrips, lepidopters, cockroaches, ants,
various beetles, mosquitoes, flies, fleas.
